Experts to be Featured on 2012 Caribbean Cruise into "Mayan Country"
Info Sessions Planned for West Hartford, Southington, and Northampton, MA. more
CT and surrounding States - In the interests of developing awareness of the connection between ancient Mayan wisdom and modern integrative approaches to healthcare, the non-profit OxyGenesis Institute is organizing a "Holistic Community Cruise to Mayan Country." The cruise is scheduled for January 8 - 15, 2012.

Departing from New Orleans, the group will tour the Western Caribbean aboard The Norwegian Spirit, with visits to Costa Maya and Cozumel, Mexico, as well as Belize City, Belize and Isla Roatan, Honduras. Each of these ports was home to the Mayan people. The year 2012 marks the end of the Mayan Calendar, a fact which has sparked speculation about end times.
Lois Grasso, Program Director of the non-profit OxyGenesis Institute for Abundant Health in Hartford, CT, sees it differently, “2012 marks the end of a global cycle, which will usher in a greater awareness of the power of personal and global responsibility. Our intention is to bring together holistic-minded people, primarily from CT and the surrounding States, to explore and practice healthy habits for physical, emotional, mental, spiritual, financial and environmental well-being. We also intend to establish a greater sense of community among participants, in ways that will help us stay connected after we come home. Virtual relationships just don’t give us what we need. We have much to learn from the Mayan culture.”
Scheduled speakers include Dr. Judith Kravitz, who trains Transformational Breath practitioners in 29 countries; Doreen Fishman, R.N., of West Hartford, Alan Steinfeld of New Realities TV, Catherine Ewing of Ellington, CT; Pat Hastings, author of Simply a Woman of Faith, Dr. Paul Epstein of Stamford, CT, Shoshana Levinson of Storrs, CT, and many more.
This cruise will mark the OxyGenesis Institute’s 7th Annual “Transformational Vacation.” Sponsors include Enlightened Professionals, LLC, of West Hartford, CT, The Door Opener Magazine of Collinsville, CT, Whole Health Expos and Many Hands Magazine, both of Northampton, MA, and Natural Awakenings Magazine of Rhode Island.
